7 Days to Die just made the list as well with the addition of Valmod. Kerbal Space Program, Rimworld, Homeworld, and Skyrim are just a couple of the games I have installed right now with mods, most of which I have written about. If you were around during the days of TMC, you are likely familiar with my love of mods. Also notice the pretty longer draw distance A15 brought. However, as with all games, you eventually get too good. With random generation, variable settings, and PvP multiplayer, there hundreds of hours’ worth of gameplay available. The scarcity of resources, tenacity of the zombies, and progression of a character imbues the game with a very real sense of survival. You have six days of prepping for that seventh night horde of zombies. The first hours of a new world are spent scrounging and preparing. This is a great game and I would recommend it to anyone who was into RPG's and battles.7 Days to Die is a challenging game in its Vanilla form. After battling certain opponents you may also have the option of capturing them and either using them as a mount (rats, spiders, etc.) or just learning their own spells to use in future battles (skeleton: Chill Touch, Spider: Web). You also have Gold that you can match up to gain money in battles. The battles aren't head to head contact fights, but puzzle battles (like a Collapse type puzzle) that each Mana (the items you are collapsing) gives you the power to cast spells against your opponent and some do damage just by removing them (skulls).

I had played a trial version so I knew what to expect, but for those that don't it's and RPG game that takes your character (whichever of the 4 categories with 5 characters each) that you choose all over their home lands fighting in battles against the undead, rabid rats, skeletons, knights and more. I just purchaces Puzzle Quest:Challenge of the Warlords (Nintendo DS). Even when I get home I still find myself playing it with the whole, "Just one more dude then ill turn it off" mentality. Im on the bus for at least 2hrs almost everyday so this definately helps me sit through the long ride with something fun to do. The sound is probably the most lacking for the whole experience, it's the same looping king arthur music for almost every battle and cutscene not a whole lot of variety.īut if your looking for something to kill time with while enjoying an interesting twist on the puzzle genre then Puzzle Quest is for you. Graphics are your typical DS graphics as far as gameplay goes but the mini cutscenes have an "animeish" look to them because of the character style chosen. for "puzzle fighting!" I have never played anything like this where there's actually a strategy to how u play the battles it's not just about matching cliched colored gems but its how can you build a possible combo of 4,5 or even 6 of kind gems to help your character and stay one step ahead of your enemy.

Using only your stylus you can upgrade your character with stats,equipment, and spells like most rpgs but. Puzzle Quest is your typical puzzle game, almost like a bejewled type, but has an extremely fun roleplaying element to it.
